"Manuel Antonio at Dusk"
I was lucky to get the number of keepers I did from my short stay in Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica. I think I owe this to the fact that the beaches and coastlines there look downright stunning in all types of light. I arrived to this beach in early afternoon, planning to scope out the location prior to the "golden hour." Instead, I was clicking my shutter the whole time! Even before the sun got very low in the sky, the light seemed to be on my side, creating an atmosphere that sunset lighting could not. The late-afternoon light in this photograph helped by making the sand look bright and warm, and the jungle look hot and humid – both feelings that any visitor is sure to associate with Manuel Antonio.
